AccuRx is an online service allowing patients to contact the practice with both Medical and Administrative queries, which will save you having to contact us by telephone. The AccuRx link is on our Website Homepage.
We no longer have Book on the Day appointments where you have to contact us at 8am each morning.
If you telephone us, depending on what the problem is and if it isn't urgent, you will be asked to complete our AccuRx Online Form.
This will ensure you will be providing enough information to our clinicians who will then be able to safely triage your symptoms and you will then be offered the most appropriate outcome. This could be an appointment with us in the next seven days or a routine appointment in the next few weeks, you might also be signposted to another more appropriate service.
If you are unable to use Accurx online, then one of our receptionists will complete this for you whilst you are on the telephone.
AccuRx Patient Triage can be used to request advice on minor medical conditions and is available 07:30 - 11:00 Monday to Friday.
Administrative requests for sick notes or prescriptions can be submitted at any time during the day and will be processed by our Administrative team within the usual time frame. Prescriptions and sick notes will be available after 14:00 the same day if submitted before 10:30, or available the next working after 14:00 if submitted after 10:30.
