Welcome to Bryn Darland Surgery

It is with great sadness that we must confirm that Dr Pamela Entwistle is too unwell to return to work. She officially retired from the practice at the end of January. We are all deeply saddened by her illness and will continue to miss her very much.

We have been through the process of recruiting a permanent doctor to replace Dr Entwistle, and are pleased to say that Dr Mateus Molena will be joining us at the start of the summer. We look forward to working with him and to being able to continue looking after our patients at Bryn Darland together.

We are also delighted to be able to let you know that Dr Gemma Sharp is joining the GP partnership after completing her initial 6 months with us.

Someone else who we are having to say goodbye to is Sister Angela Morris who has retired at the end of March. We will miss her a lot, as I’m sure many of you will, but she very much deserves a happy retirement after her years of service here at Bryn Darland.

Bryn Darland Surgery is a long established practice in the centre of Coedpoeth.  We are a three doctor partnership, Dr Sara Bodey, Dr Laura Bland Dr Gemma Sharp and Dr Sonja Adhiyaman are supported by a team of specialist Health Care Professionals and Administrative staff.

We have recently opened a branch site at Brymbo Community Clinic, if you are resident in Brymbo, Brynteg, New Broughton and Pentre Broughton, you can register with us.

We will always try to offer you an appointment at the site of your choice, but you may be offered the next available appointment which could be at either site.

We are also an accredited Training Practice, involved in the training of GPs, Foundation Level One Doctors and medical students from Cardiff, Swansea and Bangor.
